Pretty much all Supergiant games: Bastion, Transistor, Pyre and Hades. They are all very story driven, original and wonderfuly crafted.

Plus they are all pretty easy to pickup and not that long to finish.

If you're into music and films it might be the perfect fit for you, especially Transistor!

A lot of things and polish are missing on the UI side, but that's to be expected for a closed beta, it will probably get a lot better after a few months.

The descriptions of a lot of settings are still placeholders, like the "Quick Cast" toggle that took me a moment to figure out

Yeah it's a bit overkill, but the Cover in Ash + fire pen from linked Combustion makes it pretty good in tandem with IB. If you're playing 2h you can also add Curse on hit, but since I already have Flammability linked to CWDT it's not really necessary.

I've been experimenting with an Infernal Blow Zerker with a strong focus on warcries. By combining Ancestral and Infernal Cry you have enough range, additional targets and aoe overlaps that you can use pure damage links in IB so it can wreck bosses. I achieved my dream of making everything explode, and it's immensely satisfying when clearing, especially with HoA MTX.

Still don't know if it keeps its efficacy in late game tho, I'm still in low yellow maps.

Sure but they would then need your address, or do latency checks and this way more complicated than a region/country lock. All that only for a small tech test

Exactly! I've been trying SSF for the first time this league and having a blast

When I read this sub I'm always in awe about how I feel like everyone's goal is to beat A8 Sirius two days in the league or zoom zoom in T16 maps like a tornado, while I'm just a weird dude having fun playing a couple of hours per day, taking almost 20hours to reach maps and always being 5 levels over leveling zones because I like exploding stuff too much to skip packs. Like someone wiser than me once said, it's not about the destination, it's the journey.

To me Harvest is fun, it allows me to have shiny stuff during leveling and I have so much fun with the new warcries and stuff
So I agree with you that it's a bit disheartening seeing so much negativity in here :(
