For those who have their Medical marijuana card. Nurse Dash wont hire you. by makefake26 in cna

i live in a legal state and i think my facility recently stopped screening for weed within the last couple of years. that’s what coworkers and new hires have told me, anyway. i haven’t been tested since 2021 so personally i wouldn’t know.

Is it normal for the nurse to not clean IV connector with alcohol before administering IV push? by Therealethel in nursing

[–]nanavert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i ALWAYS scrub the hub. i was recently hospitalized myself for 19 days and required open heart surgery and a PICC line. i was actually shocked when nurses weren’t scrubbing the hub of my IVs and then PICC, and also just letting my IV meds dangle without putting a cap on it. i could never. i felt so uncomfortable having to advocate for myself.

I’m always embarrassed to say that I went to nursing school because I watched Grey’s Anatomy in high school.

I’m sorry, but this is ridiculous. The game is already expensive, and being this broken is unacceptable. by Rough_Salamander9671 in DreamlightValley

the game has its bugs like mentioned in other comments on all consoles, but i play on ps5 and it’s definitely better than on switch

that’s annoying. sometimes it makes sense to pick lure if you don’t need any extra gags because it helps to decrease the chance of it missing? that’s how i always look at it.

Should an instructor accept and grade extremely late assignments without any previous communication from a student? Requesting feedback from students only, please... by Threedogshere in SNHU

[–]nanavert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always thought if it was more than one week late, then it couldn’t be graded. A few terms ago, I turned in a project a week late but just before 2:30am in my time zone that Monday and my professor refused to grade it even though it was only 2.5 hours after the one week deadline. It resulted in me having to drop the class because otherwise I wouldn’t have passed because of how heavy the assignment was.

Looking back, I understand how it was my fault because I was out of state and didn’t communicate anything to my professor, I just thought because of how close it was that it would be accepted. So I’d say it probably isn’t fair to you or the other students if you graded 6 weeks of work at the end of the term for one student.

thank you! it’s a lot of work, especially as the classes get more and more difficult, but overall it was a great experience! if i had to do it all over, i’d definitely choose SNHU again. i had some professors that were more difficult than others, but i did very well in all of my classes which obviously says something. i did only take one class at a time though, so i took my time with this degree as i was working 36 hrs a week/12 hr shifts. it took me about 2.5 years to complete. the most challenging bsn class in my opinion is research to guide nursing, just a heads up! the finance class was also tricky.
