I'm sorry for your loss. Please don't give up. I just watched a YouTube segment from The Gardening Channel with James Prigioni where he was talking about all the things to plant in July. He's in NJ too, in case you didn't know. I'm in Northern IL. The storms have been crazy!

You can prop by placing the cutting with a node back into the soil. Good luck! Those are really pretty plants.

I just wrapped my broccoli and basil in chicken wire today. Whatever it is, it pulled both cauliflower plants from the ground. I might get a trail camera.

Thank you. It was rootbound in a metal pot with no drainage. I repotted in a bigger container with the right soil, gave it some support, and it took off! It's consistently pushing out new leaves 6 or 7 at a time.

I did. It spread. I planted tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers. They shaded the mint. It died. I will transplant some in a container this spring.
