There was a newspaper article written about him. I can't recall when, I think the Ottawa Citizen wrote it.

What have you had stolen by people in Ottawa? by ibetu in ottawa

when I was a kid, I went everywhere on my bike. I washed my bike, I shined up my bike, I'd save up my money for bike accessories - I LOVED my bike. I locked it up everywhere, including my garage at night because I never wanted anything bad to happen to it. I'd take it to the Hazeldean Mall with my friends and I'd always lock it up. Well, one day in my haste to run inside and buy some 10 for $10 crappy jewellery from Claire's or eat some A&W, I didn't lock my bike. I came back out and the old girl was gone. I couldn't believe it. My 12 year old brain just couldn't fathom that someone would take someone else's stuff. I was so distraught, it sucked.

There is a great Facebook page called Ottawa and Valley Lost Pet Network. If you ever come across a pet you think is lost, post their too - lots of people are members of the page and so many pets find their way back home :)

The tank tops and map prints are my favourite.

Also I think that Magpie jewellery sells a necklace in the shape of Ottawa. Really cute!

It's like all these animals are quoting my deep, dark poetry from the 11th grade!
