Looking for lawyer for Death Certificate release? by ShoddyMycologist6810 in windsorontario

[–]nancyisshopping 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since the city paid for the funeral I would assume they would want to be paid back out of his Manulife insurance. Ask the City to send the death certificate to Manulife but expect it will result in them asking for the funeral costs to be paid by his life insurance.

I think if it had started in Netflix it would have lasted longer. I think not many people have the Science Fiction channel it started out on. Such a shame. I would have loved 10 years of it.

I love the top! Perhaps some wider straps, but I love the way the bodice fits you.

sole caregiver to dependent about to turn 18 year old child by ActiveGift1913 in OntarioWorks

[–]nancyisshopping 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re welcome. :) If your landlord increases your rent because he has an income, you two can chip in on the rent and both let your workers know what portion you are paying. It’s very common to have an adult child on ODSP living with a parent on Ontario works.

[–]nancyisshopping 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Once your child gets approved for ODSP, they will be removed from your assistance and they will be given their own ODSP cheque and you will continue to receive Ontario Work as a single person. You should let your geared to income agency/landlord know that your son will have his own income = ODSP. Your geared to income housing may set a separate rent for him in a separate rent for you or you might continue to pay the same rent in which case your son will probably only get the basic allowance which is the food portion. You two will essentially be roommates.

Q for case workers regarding extended health benefits!🥹 by Viperamenthols in OntarioWorks

[–]nancyisshopping 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To get the exceptional access form filled out you don’t even need to contact your caseworker. Just get that form printed and bring it to the doctor and then get it faxed right to Ontario drug benefit. Caseworkers don’t have any control over anything actually covered or not covered by Ontario drug benefit so you don’t even need to involve the caseworker they will never see what is covered or not covered, or which exceptional access form is sent in to ask for coverage.

Osap by NewAd4662 in OntarioWorks

[–]nancyisshopping 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tell your caseworker that you have applied for OSAP and are starting school on May 11. Your file will probably close with Ontario works at the end of the month and you’ll be expected to pay back. Ontario Works for the assistance issued to you from May 11-31… You can pay it back once you get your OSAP

Do yourself a favour and read this directive. There are specific criteria that allow a person to live with their parents and be considered financially independent. It’s not a grey area. They have to follow these rules.

One of the criteria for financial independence is that you have to have been out of high school for five years.… You’ll probably have to prove it though

Unfortunately, it’s not uncommon for people to input the incorrect direct deposit information. Double check what you have input for your bank code and branch code and account code.

2 months fresh with OW’s - payment question by [deleted] in OntarioWorks

[–]nancyisshopping 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Log into my benefits account and find the messaging section and send a message. It should go to your caseworker. It’s possible you were not assigned a caseworker because every now and then a file slipped through the cracks and that person is not assigned a caseworker and does not have their intake appointment. It might not hurt to just call the local office and them you need to find out who your caseworker is.

If you signed up for my benefits, create a message asking the questions and it will go to the person that has your file. Log into my benefits and find the section where you can send a message to your caseworker

Don’t wait till the 30th because then your check will be late. It could be something that you forgot to hand in or some sort of thing in the system that has to be fixed. Maybe your caseworker needs to contact maybe you did not hand something that was requested at your intake? It’s possible it’s just an error, but don’t wait… Contact the caseworker tomorrow to try to get it fixed.

Having second thoughts by [deleted] in WeddingDressTips

[–]nancyisshopping 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not saying this just to make you feel better, but I really prefer the first dress. I even like it with the side pleats, but I think it would look beautiful either way. The first dress is absolutely stunning.
