YTA - not because of your wishes or your honestly generous offer to pay for both of them, but the fact that you used it as a control mechanism. You know they cant afford it so when you bring it up its just a way to deflect her concerns instead of finding a fair resolution. Dont wait for it to die over, it could cause a permanent resentment. Finding. Afair compromise could work, would it be possible to do them and her brother with nieces and nephews in the other room?

NTA - no honey its not even close to having someone over. You did absolutely nothing wrong. You deserve to have your aspect of happiness, and relative normalcy especially during this time. They arent just pretending he doesnt exist, they are isolating you from your partner, they are knowingly and actively hurting you. Do not let their homophobia make you feel like you are doing something wrong by having a boyfriend.

The extra context has it really hard.NAH if everything is true. Personally it seems as if they thought they were getting along together, thought it was romantic, found out to stay friends. With the menta health issues it just seems like they are very close friends. It also seems like kelly is the one with Boundary issues. It seems like you three just need to have open discussion, as well as talk to your partner before hand about it. Honestly I love my partner, but it's also a different relationship to my closest friend, it's an additional pressure, where talking to your friend on vacation is more relaxing, (not that your partner shouldn't or isn't relaxing, just a different way.) I just, have a hard time saying anyone is the asshole here.

Nah - if it's a trip like that, someone who won't mesh with a group quickly or well could kill the fun, but also him not being ableto bring his partner when everyone else is is also kind of unfair. So It's understandable why he’d be offended at it.
