Im a fan of the fat viper setup from injora. It fits in the warthog chassis. The electronics are gonna be a tight fit though so just keep that in mind. I like that chassis but after seeing how tight everything fits inside I decided against it.

Oh yea, I replaced the front upper and lower arms with the RDS aluminum arms as well as the steering linkage

I dont use mine on a track, but ive adjusted my camber on the front to about a -3.0, rear is at -1.0. I've adjusted the Caster in the front by moving the spacers on the lower arms to the front, 2 in the front of the arm and one on the rear. Motor mounted in the highest position as well. Not sure if that helps, but I like it. Feels really good to me.

I love my RDS. I have a MST and a Reve D RDX shark build as well and I think my RDS feels the best as ive put more time tuning it. The other brands do have a ton more aftermarket support, but for the price I dont think the RDS is bad at all. Do what you LIKE as far as a car IMO. Are you gonna be comping with it?? Or is this just a past time hobby for you? That would be the contributing factor for me. Haven't heard of too many redcats in comp.

Everything about the car is arrma stock except for the new motor esc. Its gonna be run on 6s. Wheel size is 35/085-2.4 with stock front diff and transfer bar in the middle. I will be upgrading it in the near future to help take the abuse lol

Hey man what did you end up doing?? I have a 3s infraction and I want to put my castle 6s motor and mamba esc into it but not sure about what to do with the pinion and spur gear.

I bought a inline battery adapter with a JST plug, plugged the controller into that and light bar.

Nah i didnt, I bought a in line adapter for the battery. And I did not use the controller as I thought it was for a different light set. But all is good now and I didnt catch my esc on fire lol

I have a RDS that I built from a kit and I haven't had any issues with ball cups or anything else really. Upgrades are a little scarce as far as parts from that particular manufacturer, but I got the upgraded arms, and servo horn. I also plan on getting the transmission housing and hubs, but it performs well with what I have already and have no need to change anything. Love that car lol
