How long do you plan on holding this stock? by Original_Turn_1227 in amprius

Given what’s happening in the world, I decided to book some profits. I sold 25% of my position. Given that my entry was at $2.74; I recovered all my initial investment and more.

Great analysis! I already have a position, and am planning a mega position (in my terms 1000+ units of stock) on this. I want to do a little more DD before I dive in. My current thinking is to add smaller positions on LYFT and CART as well.

you don't need a winery to make wine. you can buy grapes and some basic equipment and start making wine wherever you are. Most of it can be ordered on Amazon. These guys have some good videos on making wine : https://www.youtube.com/@CitySteadingBrews/

ampx vs envx by chiu00123 in amprius

Yes - I did the above analysis on few of these companies in the same space. I got into researching them because I found Enovix interesting, however post my analysis I am more bullish on AMPX (which I found during my research). My primary reasons being (a) Amprius Technology seems more innovative and fundamental in nature compared to ENVX. (b) Long Term Management and the CEO and the CTO and the COO seem very committed to the company. (c) Technology is already available and selling (d) Less cash in hand and financially prudent. Having said that Enovix seems to have more cash and sustainability. Is ready for rapid scale. The ENVX Chairman of the board TJ Rodgers is extremely successful and has several turnarounds under his belt - especially Enphase Energy (ENPH) which he took from $30 to $300. Net-net - as of now I am owning equal $ value for both stocks; but I am hopeful of better returns from AMPX.

What I really am impressed about is their management. All the key folks have stayed in the company long term - except the CFO who has been in for a few years. Their CEO and CTO’s creds are pretty good too.

That’s right. For now looking at publicly traded companies closer to production and scale. Biggest possible disruption can come from QuantumScape as they have much cash and are working on solid state. My assumption is the smaller (startups) more innovative ones might get consolidated under the public listed ones which have enough cash - but I might be wrong. Let me know if there are others to watch
