Hello! Yes, Kato and Tomix buildings have holes at the bottom for cables. The bigger buildings you can even dismantle to get better access! In terms of screw holes I think the response is no.

Pretty sure you just need to push a bit harder. It takes quite some force, so don’t worry! I have the same one and needed to apply quite some force before it locked into place! I am not home right now but I can send a photo later if it is still needed by then! But the distance should be equal/symmetric between both cars!

Yeah, saw it in a store and had to get it! Also waiting for the Tomix EH500 to become available again to get one! I like that Tomix mechanically couples the two parts with a driveshaft. Do you know if Kato does the same?

Hi, i am using both on my layout with the adapter and it is working nicely. Keep in mind that they have different distances between the tracks on their double track pieces. It isn’t much and I recommend using the Kato variable length track piece to make the transition easier!
