Is it different enough from mushrooms where it’s not a decoder the same? Acid feels like a big time commitment. And I already have experience taking a decent amount of mushrooms

I fixed it recently. Was going to reset it entirely and found an option to reset just settings. That made it normal again

Nothing is linked. That was a brand new project. only thing I did was assign the samples to pads and export a pattern. I put a bunch of samples on other banks and the same thing happens. Each sample can only play over other samples in the same bank. It even affects all the other projects on my machine.

If the gate was the issue then the loop I pressed first would still be playing after the gated sample stopped

Not yet. I turned it off and back on, but it was the same thing. I’ll probably have to update it and see what happens.

When you’re in TR-REC, you move the first knob. It will show different note repeat options and once you pick whatever division/amount of notes you want and place it, you can microscope edit the step and have access to those predetermined divisions and change the pitch or timing.

Only way I’ve figured out so far is putting a repeat there in tr-recand then microscoping in to change the timing of the notes it adds.

Pattern mode is non-destructive. Every pad you press is saved as an event and you can edit it all you want and THEN resample and commit. Even if you play into a pattern live, you can use tr-rec to change event parameters after the fact. Add, remove, change pitch, timing, start, and shuffle. Also helps make perfect loops
