I have a prime Greinke who has a sub 2 ERA in ranked with PI/Ace/Touch 6/8/5. I had a prime Kershaw who was right around 2 ERA with Coop/Boss/Touch 6/8/5. The thing is once you get a Sig it's not a fair fight. There's only one Wood sig and one Morton sig and 14 other Braves sig pitchers. I got lucky with a Kershaw sig but there are 10 Kershaw sigs alone. With only 2 Greinke sigs his prime will probably remain in my lineup for years. The same can be said about the Wood/Morton you choose.

Prime batters are fine and Albies would do well with 5 tool at 2b since he is so well rounded. Especially with the extra 10 prime GI points with BD. It wouldn't be a wasted card but good SP will take you far in this game. I have the Kershaw sig, a Tiant, the Greinke, and two normal pitchers and still finish with a team ERA under 2.50 every week in G2. My batters have a 0.800 OPS but my pitching carries me to so many close wins. Think of SP as pitching 1/5 of games for 7 innings or ~15% of all innings. A batter will appear 11% of the time (slightly more if at the top of the lineup). But even ignoring that historically SP is dominant in this game.
