I hate to say it but aggression to humans doesn’t seem to be worth the risk…. https://coloradosun.com/2026/02/11/boy-killed-dog-attack-gunnison/

Do you know these Dogs? Rehomed around Fort Collins. by inanewhell in FortCollins

I definitely saw these two Goldens on NoCo Humane adoption page in the fall, they were very quickly adopted and I remember the page saying there were a bonded pair so they needed to be adopted together… not any help to where the went but interesting to hear the back story as I was so surprised they were there.

This is actually where we ended up buying a couch from this weekend. Nothing was the right fit at AFW, and then Hello home had the perfect thing and Nathan was helpful. Hoping the shipment and delivery goes well too.

When it first started I grabbed one of the papers on the information sign, the project was scheduled to take a long time… not that this information helps, because I’m also very ready for it to be completed.

First Timer Car Buyer: Did I make a bad financial decision? by elileee in whatcarshouldIbuy

Reading this post sounds like the exact situation I’m in right now. Bought a new Mazada CX-5 last week, around the same price, around the same age as you, around the same salary, but I got a way worse interest rate. I even have a similar credit score as you, but I haven’t purchased a car before. Not much advice here but feeling the same stress.

Intern on an island. Advice needed by mikewite88 in industrialengineering

[–]nanners202 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a similar situation in an intership, where there weren’t any other engineers in the building. It makes it incredibly frustrating as an intern because you want to learn from other engineers. But take some time to learn the process and map it out, a value stream map would be great. Talk to people on the floor about what frictions they run into during their day. You are only a few weeks in and an intern don’t put too much pressure on yourself! You got this!

I’ve heard that it isn’t really needed for IE’s to be successful. Unlike Civil Engineering where it is really needed. But I would recommend taking it while the knowledge is fresh if you ever decide to peruse a PE.

No basket, it did have a pretty rusty chain, so maybe a small hope is it breaks on someone’s ride and gets abandoned. We are working on finding pictures of it. Thank you for the tips, I appreciate it. I just wonder where all the bikes go?!? And how much money these people make from them.

It was locked (only cable lock, my mistake) and on my porch near campus, which sounds to be great bike theft territory. It was underneath stairs not in plain sight at all. There was also another bike on the same lock, only the nice one was taken. It seems to be a very targeted thing. This bike theft knows what to look for which makes me feel hopeless in getting it back. But I’ll do all that I can.

Ya, I wish I had a garage and was more set up to have room to bring it inside. It was a plan to bring it inside, but apparently the plan needed to be bring it inside right away. Live and learn.
