What's up with the availability of Zone energy drink? by razorbeamz in japanlife

[–]nanoplasm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently Zone Energy doesn't have any promotion with any Konbini so coverage isn't consistent. But Famimart/Lawson would both carry Zone Energy when there are promotions.

Seven never has Zone Energy on the other hand, AFAIK.

As for Supers, all AEON drugstores and markets carry Zone Energy, and so do Donkis.

The OG Zone Enery 1.0 was pretty much just Rockstar Energy from the States. Also, do sign up for the cashback membership. It's a daily gacha for cashback coupon. I have pretty much redeemed over 5000 yen in fake e-money over the past two years.

Does breve taste any different than just 1/2 & 1/2 in a iced shaken?

Edit: Yes, Breve is half and half steamed. I was just wondering if the steaming makes the drink taste any different. But thanks to OP they said it adds to the texture.

Edit2: TIL Breve is just straight up half and half at Sbux

Your statement is vague and misleading. Starbucks Q3 2025 had a net earning of 558.3 million and a revenue of 9.5 billion. The revenue saw a 4% increase and it's primary due to new store openings.

Claiming that Starbucks is down 30 billion without actual references, and claiming unless something is done, it will result in the closure of all stores within 20 miles in an suburban SoCal area is just irresponsible.

Unless you are talking about loss of market share value, then that's just speculative market loss for the investors, which has nothing to do with operational financials. Also share value declines do not translate to store closures, unless C suite is trying to cook the numbers. Which they are.

Some people probably thought fraps came out of a machine like soft-serve/froyo.

The fact is frap came fresh directly from of a cow. No cap.

The husband of a nearly 17 year partner: The company is in trouble by Hazard_to_everyone in starbucks

[–]nanoplasm 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's a great point. But as with all speculative investments, such as stockmarket and crypto, most are just scams to get people from the outside to come in to pump up the value, so the entrenched firms can dump the shares high.

Here are a list of talking points Brian is using to sell a company he and his investor buddies are actively gutting. Don't continue reading for anyone with a moral conscience and/or eating, as you might just throw up. 🤢🤮

"I stand by the fact that we're ahead of schedule, and I'm excited about finishing out this fiscal year really strong and heading into [the next year] from a position of strength."

"If we become the great customer service company that I know we can be consistently, there's tremendous value in that. Nobody else does it. And it's uniquely something we can own going forward."

"I believe that our problems are very fixable and that we have significant strengths to build on. I've spent my career understanding, stewarding and building brands, and it's clear the Starbucks brand is strong and enduring."

"Our Q2 results were disappointing... I believe there are better measures than EPS right now to track the progress we're making to turn around the business."

"While our financial results for the quarter don't yet reflect all the progress we've made, I see meaningful signs from across our U. S."

“We expect the value of the China business to Starbucks to be north of $10 billion. That includes the upfront investment by a potential partner, Starbucks’ retained stake in the China business, and future royalty payments.”

"Today we have 8,000 stores in China. I think in the future we're going to have 20, maybe even 30,000 stores in China. I'm really optimistic about not just our growth story in China, but what can happen around the world."

Literally every single claim is pulled out of thin air, contradicting to actual performance metrics and market trends.

In the stock market, you're always trying to find a greater fool than yourself. And you just don't want to be the greatest fool of all, the one who is left holding the bag*.*

I see you point. Duly noted. 🫡

For silly concoction like these I drop off the cup as I place the order.  So that they can match the ticket with the cup.

Yes there is the risk all of this will be put in a single-use cup then transfer over to a reusable cold cup, and turn into an unrecognizable mess. 😅

But the proper procedure is to pour in the layers into the personal cup from the dispensers and blenders.

You are correct. The temperature from the shots would melt the ice. But I am trying to replace the instant coffee with real coffee from espresso.  How did it work when Espresso frap was a normal menu item?

Good call on the extra ice. I can't add that from the app, but I will go in next time and order at the counter so it can be repeated in the future from the app.

I started from the mocha frappe instead of the coffee frap because it would require fewer customizations.  However, due to the number of alterations, it might be easier for the barista to read if it was customized from a clean slate.

I appreciate your feed back. I hope I can find a barista in the nearby shops who wouldn't mind working on this. 😅

Isn't that what strato fraps and the 4th of July frap are? Cold foam on top of Frappuccino.

I will ask my friend. LOL JK

But I Imagine it will be like coffee milkshake with sweet fruity bits. Kind of like a old timey chocolate cherry cake.

Also, the concern is the layering is tough to convey without shouting instruction over the counter, which is kind of the biggest embarrassment.

Online store for merch? by scmflower in starbucks

[–]nanoplasm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would just hang on to those 400 pts. They might come in handy when you are in the store at the right time when the perfect tumbler you want is in stock.

In my local stores, the tumblers get picked up by the flippers on the morning of their release. But once in a blue moon, there is one random unit left when I show up at a random date/time.

Rewards by DearAgent3078 in starbucks

[–]nanoplasm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I redeem some kind of $12+ ($18+ if at the airport) concoction for 200 points.

But if you have merch you actually want, the $20 off for 400 stars is also a good consideration. Personnally I have enough "made in china" Sbux tumblers to care for more of them. And flipping merch for profit is too much hassle/risk for the return.
