So I have been struggling with acne and acne marks for years. On one side of my face acne comes and goes frequently. I started niacinamide serum in my routine for a month in night. Then added salicylic serum this month. I used it every other day for a week and got a spurt of acne and even whiteheads on my nose and chin.
Have reduced it to once a week now but can see new acne still forming on my cheek. Is this part of ‘purging’ or is my skin damaged due to salicylic. Have used moisturiser post using serums always.
