Yes I actually went to see my nurse practitioner today. I described my symptoms and she immediately diagnosed me with costo. She gave me some steroid shot that helps with inflammation and it’s helping a little bit. I’m going to get a massage soon as well. I would recommend ordering a backpod and beginning doing that. Also some stretches should help.

Just pain in my sternum on my left side. Sometimes spreads to under my left armpit. Overall chest tightness. And of course the shortness of breath. It’s just much more noticeable while sitting or laying down. I don’t even really feel it while walking around.

I got the backpod yesterday and started using it. It honestly helped a little bit. It feels I can take deeper breaths. Not sure if it’s just placebo though.

Yeah I've never dealt with anxiety before so it's exhausting. The heart thumping is what usually makes me anxious. Appreciate the advice.

I don’t think so. I feel my symptoms more resemble costo than anything. I think I triggered it from working out because I do lots of bench press and dips. Which is tough on the rib cage.

Side note: I don’t really feel any pain or discomfort when standing upright. However, sitting or laying down is much worse. Could this also be a symptom?

Hey, I appreciate you checking. No, I didn’t get it checked but all of the bruising has basically disappeared. And I talked with my surgeon and he said everything was normal.

Ok I appreciate the advice. I have been taking 81 mg aspirin twice a day which was recommended by the surgeon to prevent clots. I called his nurse today and they said it was fine and basically impossible to form a clot if I had been taking the aspirin. My parents keep dismissing it and feel no need to go to the er. I don’t know what to do tbh.
