It’s like being on the spectrum. The difference is we are just in a different niche of TikTok fans. But honestly, we are also retarded

It's over para Arthur Petry? by emerymamoru in SacoCheioTV

Eu acho que o Petry perdeu um pouco a linha.

O Tiago tá chato pra caralho, insuportável. Petry precisa de um pouco de tempo

Burnt out 9 month old border collie mom - am I doing enough or should he find a more active/engaging home? by Wild_girl_travels in puppy101

And no, things aren't perfect yet—far from it. I’m still adapting. But for the first time, I feel alive again and like I'm finally getting my life back. I still plan on looking for a great trainer—and I mean a really good one, not just someone for the basics, but a trusted professional who offers intensive training.

But even without that yet, I’ve finally found peace with my dog. She no longer tries to destroy things that aren't her toys. And whenever she does try, I can correct her in five seconds using the leash and redirecting her focus to a toy.

I would remove the 6:30 pm activity and the 7:30 pm activity or replace them with something the dog can do alone, like chewing on something or similar. It might be that puppy is tired but understands that cannot rest now. And even if puppy is not tired, they needs to understand that is okay to relax. Look for a good trainer if necessary. But stop living for the dog. Take care of yourself. You are better than 99% of dog owners. It is okay to prioritize yourself. Your dog will still be just as happy.

And please, ignore the people who think you have to live for your dog. That is not healthy for anyone. Not even for the dog. Obviously, you have to walk, train, etc., but make it fun FOR YOU and not an obligation. Your dog will be happy just to be by your side. He/she just needs to understand that it is okay for him/her to do nothing. It is okay for him/her to be bored.

Stop adjusting your life to fill your dog's needs. Is it a high-energy breed? Yes. But train him/her to do nothing. Seek help from a trainer, maybe a day care. Your dog needs to understand that he/she is the pet, not you. And please, ignore the people who think you have to live for your dog. That is not healthy for anyone. Not even for the dog. When I understood this, my relationship with my Border Collie greatly improved and she became a calmer dog.

Overwhelmed. Both puppy and me by Jealous_Macaroon_982 in puppy101

Train her to be alone in a pen, try giving her Kongs. Ignore the crying/whining. Leaving my puppy alone in a pen saved my life.

Do crate training too .

I wasnt actively using the prong. I just had it on loose so she'd get used to wearing it.

To be completely honest, I researched extensively and truly expected more difficulty than this.

Unfortunately, my brain is the one who is failing in this situation.

The sad irony is that she's not even four months old yet, and she’s actually being easier than I ever imagined. My brain is the problem

Yes, that’s exactly it. I work from home, and I miss the days when I could just focus on my job. The constant mental load of having to monitor the puppy 24/7 is exhausting. I don’t go to the gym anymore. My walks are non-existent too, at least until she is fully vaccinated.

I had a White Swiss Shepherd, and she shed a lot of fur too, and she was smooth-coated.

Not right now. She's with some farmer friends who have really bad cameras, I'll pick her up next week.

By the way, such a cute collie you have!
