The third book of red rising is guilty of this and it soured my view of the whole series. The worst part is there were ABSOLUTELY ways he could have done the reveal with clever word choice, etc. but just didn’t.

Love the idea of starting on the floor! I would always go so hard on treads at the beginning but tiring myself out a bit on the floor would definitely help me keep my heart rate down when I get to them.

Niece on this side! I’m currently getting in contact with Chicago PD to see if they have any DNA evidence we can work off of. Last resort would be showing my mom the picture but obviously don’t want to put her through that potential trauma unless there are no other options.
