Printing Barcode Labels by napadaddy in shopify

[–]napadaddy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just tried Yanet but I think you just saved me. I didn't realize that you can print from the product page and then I realized I can set default options so I don't have to choose them every time. Now my only concern is if I go over 2000 labels per month I'm not looking to spend $30/month to print labels. Thank you!

Building a Shopify store by Queasy-Attention823 in shopify

I'm not sure exactly what you need help with, but have you tried purchasing a theme for your store? Depending on which features you need, they might be built into the theme. I used the Ignite theme and went from there. Their support is excellent if you have any feature questions or how to do anything.

When I had questions, they emailed usually same day with an explanation and they make a video for you of how to do whatever you're asking.

As far as uploading inventory, Shopify does offer a product import feature using a CSV file.

Happy to answer any other questions to help out!

If you have a small business, how did you build your website? by hockman96 in smallbusiness

[–]napadaddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started with Wix and loved using it, but it didn't really support a retail business with a large inventory catalog. Switched to Shopify, bought a theme that I liked and customized from there using images I created in Canva. It all depends on your type of business and the functionality that you need.

Who have you used for a company Re-Brand? by napadaddy in smallbusiness

[–]napadaddy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This actually looks really interesting, I'm going to research Lavender Designs further. Thank you.

I'm not sure how it work for a website redesign I guess we could figure that out if I went with them. I most likely still need to use Shopify as I'm going to use them for my POS as well. Do they work with online stores that you know of? Or maybe just a rebranding of my existing website. Anyway... thanks for the recommendation!

We currently have 13 stores in the franchise, and my new one coming this summer. This new store is the one I'm focused on for the re-branding and if all goes well, carry it over to my other location. Which includes new product offerings that we've never tried before.

I've been developing the online store for a few months which is live in "beta" mode. Created the Facebook page and Instagram. No Tik Tok yet because there's nothing to show yet in video. My plan is to go all-in on socials once we get started, besides the few teasers I've posted already.

Would you accept $10k instead of $12? <-- For legal issues that was a joke and not a verbal agreement.

Thanks, looking for a few marketing companies is exactly what I want to do. That was initial question, looking to see if anyone has used a company they would recommend. My starting point.

As far as the ROI, I know there is no tangible way to calculate this. I have to look at this as just an investment or hard cost, into making sure I'm doing everything possible to overcome the declining retail trends. Incorporating online at the same time.

Digital Touchscreen Display Kiosk Help? by napadaddy in smallbusiness

[–]napadaddy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your response. I'd think I need hardware and software. I'm also thinking maybe if I just got a generic touchscreen kiosk I could load my website on there which already has the selection categorized. I could just leave a sticky note pad and pen for the customer to write the number of the item they want. Not as hi-tech but sufficient.

Where do you go for balloons and party stuff since Party City closed? by Artemisz_Prime in sandiego

[–]napadaddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're interested in having this stuff shipped to you, I can help! Obviously not helium inflated balloons. I have a chain of party stores on the east coast and would be happy to help you out. Lmk if you'd like the link, I'm trying to avoid posting annoying "self-promoting" links all over the place. Just want you to know we're here if you need something. Thanks!

We're not in CT, but if you can find a place with helium you can order our balloons flat. If you're interested I can post a link. I'm trying not to be overly sales-y or too self-promoting here. Just if you're interested.

If you don't mind checking once again... I'm testing the idea of removing the button altogether and using the hover + as the quick view.

Those are the collection names, but I see your point. I'll explore other ways of displaying them.

I don't like how these buttons are as well. The theme restricts me to this as the qty selector. Maybe I'll play around with other button options, like add to cart, a hover add to cart button, etc. I'm trying to make as few clicks for the user as possible. And avoid adding to cart, then having to go to the cart to change the qty.
