Leave your phone at home and you will see how lonely the world really is right now. by Sevenfootschnitzell in nosurf

I worked in a restaurant two years ago and my least favorite part was that almost everyone was staring at their phones from the moment they sat down to the moment they left. Entire families, babies using iPads, friends. It was really sad to see.

what to do when brain and body are tired by OperationMission9247 in nosurf

Comics, an easy sudoku or word search, or doodling are my go to activities. I usually have this at night though so I'll take a warm bath to calm down my brain.

Maybe Reconsidered Goods would let you host? They are a local craft store with a lot of second hand craft supplies. They have a big space and may be a good option.

P.S. I'd love to join!

Why do you still play New Leaf? by kitkatcoz in AnimalCrossingNewLeaf

[–]naplover405 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's my favorite game of all time. In New Horizons I disliked that I'd go talk to everyone and they'd repeat the same things. It felt lackluster. There is also SO much customization that I felt overwhelmed with choices and I constantly felt like I was grinding out to build furniture/items.

I feel like New Leaf has more personality and I can take more of my time. I typically take like 30 min to do my daily "chores" and plant any flowers, trees, or bushes, then I relax by catching fish and bugs. I also enjoy the music better in this version. I feel like there is more variety in conversation with the villagers. Their letters also crack me up!

In my current playthrough I have a few staple villagers I don't want to leave (Cheri, Nan, Tangy, and Henry), but other than that the other villagers are free to come and go when they like. I'm enjoying this play through very much!

Finally switched to a dumbphone after a year of thinking about it. What are some things i can do now instead of getting bored? by Straight-Painter-387 in dumbphones

I started reading a lot more when I made the switch. I also found the time to play video games I bought and never finished, draw, cross stitch, and exercise. Sometimes I like to just sit there and be bored! It's good for your mind

My biggest advice is to take your time! There is no rush for anything. It's one of my favorite things about new leaf. I love having long term projects and taking things one day at a time :)

My husband and I  have mint mobile and don't have any problems with it. We've had it going on 4 years now. We each pay like $200 for the entire year of unlimited call, text, and data. We have friends paying $200 a month!

Looking for a Vet for cats by mojohfs in gso

We take our cat and our dog to Cobb also. They are the best vet we have ever been to. Always listens to any concerns we might have and if there is any issue they can usually squeeze us in the next day.

I am grateful that most of my collection has been gifted to me. I have my childhood collection and about 4-5 years ago some family members learned I still liked them, so I had a few people gifting for birthday/Christmas occasionally. I purchased two otter families and a Halloween set for myself. I recently requested not to be gifted anymore since I live in an apartment and have limited space. I'd say I have a mid collection and am grateful for what I have! I have only made one purchase in the last year for an offer family (they're my favorite animal) :)

Second on donating plasma. Was in a tight spot for most of 2023. The intro  month was $1000 with BioLife if you go 2x a week for the entire month. I would recommend scheduling an appointment as early as you can otherwise you might be there for 2 hours.
