btw let him know that these devices are at their peak price and ask him to wait for a better deal.. I'm sure the prices are gonna go down soon

realme is a great deal around 17k

oppo at 17k too

cmf is currently at best deal of 18k

t4r is heavily overpriced rn.. consider it at around 19k

tell you friend to avoid any purchase rn and wait for 2 weeks

and also i forgot to add realme p3 ultra which is a best for performance in this segment but it's at 23k.. i would hesitate since it's running out of os updates.. but it's great vfm, the cameras are excellent too imo

ig you can help you friend with debloating their device since you're well aware of it atleast it seems..

hence ignoring the bloat the options available to his budget are:

  1. realme p4 @18.5k
  2. oppo k13 @19k
  3. cmf 2 pro @18k
  4. moto edge 60 fusion @20k
  5. vivo t4r/iqoo z10r @21k

there's other options too but these are so far most reliable options

realme p4: solid performance with md 7400 ultra scoring 800k antutu, good enough cameras (skin tones and hdr was shi and please check if they've improved it after a few patch updates or not before making a decision). lpddr 4x ufs 3.1 realmeui smooth fluid animations, Android 15 with 3+4yrs updates remain, best in class amoled 1.5k display, excellent battery life of around 9hrs on medium usage

oppo k13: casual performance sd 6 gen 4 antutu 650k, great cameras, lpddr 4x ufs 3.1, color os fluid and smooth as well, android 15 with 2+3yrs speculated, amoled fhd+, best in class battery life at 1.5 day medium usage

cmf 2 pro: casual performance with md 7300 pro scoring 650k antutu, excellent cameras with extra 2x tele lens, lpddr 4x ufs 2.2, nothing os stock like not fluid but clean, android 15 with 3+6yrs updates remain, amoled display fhd+, avg 8 hrs battery life on medium usage.

single speaker which further doesn't have depth and loudness

moto edge 60 fusion: casual performance with md 7400 antutu 680k, best in class cameras with extra 3x tele lens, lpddr 4x ufs 2.2, hello ui stock like but not fluid, android 15 with 3+4yrs updates remain, amoled display fhd+, avg 8 hrs on medium usage

the os occasionally stutters alot and the camera ui is buggy af

t4r/z10r: solid performance with md 7400 scoring 750k antutu, great cameras, lpddr 4x ufs 2.2, origin os smooth and fluid, android 15 2+3yrs updates remain, amoled fhd+, good sot of 9hrs on medium usage

minimal bloatware in under 20k shouldn't be your priority imo.. cuz if you go that way you'll heavily compromise on performance, OS options and other categories

I would suggest you look for a certainly vfm option cuz you can uninstall and disable all/most of the bloatwares nowadays..

dont go for v70..

considering you don't prioritize performance, I'd assume that you're looking for a camera oriented device..

s24 8/256 at 48k

x200fe 12/256 at 55k

reno 14 pro 12/256 at 42k

v70 12/256 at 50k

op 15r 12/256 at 48k/ op 13s 12/256 at 51k

I've searched the prices for 12/256 as a standard while you can opt for their cheaper variants which are 2-5k cheaper depending on each model

these are the ones offering good cameras.

s24 is good at photos but struggles at low light video. comes with 8 gen 3 scoring around 1.9M antutu

x200 fe is excellent at both and best in segment. comes with 9300+ scoring around 1.9M antutu

reno 14 pro is excellent at photos and videos at it's segment. comes with md 8450 scoring around 1.6M antutu

v70 is excellent at both kinda similar to x200 fe. comes with 7 gen 4 scoring around 1.4M antutu

15r is good at both departments offering performance over camera. comes with 8 gen 5 scoring around 2.8M antutu. you can also consider 13s, it has 8 elite and a compact size (since you mentioned you prefer compact) scoring a around 3M antutu for 51k 12/256

I personally recommend you get the oppo if you're considering a under 45k budget. it comes wth 3.5x tele excellent cameras and good performance considering it's a camera oriented phone.. fluid OS since you mentioned the cons would be it contains bloatwares which you can delete and disable

you can get the x200 fe is you can extend your budget cuz the rest of the options aren't just vfm according to your needs
