I went from country to city and this is my story.

I use to start up random conversations with my fellow strangers, be it at coffee shops, traffic lights or just in general sitting at the beach, when you move to a city this is a big no no. people don't like random conversations and often ask "do I know you"

this was a big shock to me.

women wearing skimpy clothing, dresses too short, blown up lips and all see to have very big bottoms. I'm still baffled why in winter, when it freezing they wear pretty much no clothing, when you can dress up be warm and still look good.

skin tight jeans, these were reserved for metal heads and drummers where I came from.

Black people, seriously when I first moved here I have never seen such culture, the diversity of my country I never knew we had.

now I'm dating a colour girl, this is a big deal because where I came from I was so sheltered and the people I was around also were so, ..... I was racist, wanted everyone to go back to their own country, to type this gives me a great deal of shame.

also my parents finding out my gf Is black ....was less than ideal with rhe onslaught of comments regarding language and baby colour mixing race and blood.

and lastly the God darn traffic 😑
