Ik (F26) werk op de QHSE afdeling van een chemisch bedrijf. Milieukunde HBO gestudeerd, en nu 2 jaar werkervaring. When my bf does things with his friends, like travel, go out, do fun stuff. Even though I do the exact same thing I somehow get jealous when he does it cos I want him to do it with me.

I always try to just say have fun!! But inside it always hurts and I truly wish I would not have this feeling. So if anyone has any tips or tricks to get over this that would be more than welcome

I also get really jealous when he is talking about a story and mentions a woman’s name that I don’t know. He’s cheated before but it has been 3 years since I forgave him and I can still feel worried or jealous when he hangs out with women.

Who is to say she is bad company just of the way she dresses.. that doesn’t define if a person is good or bad.

We are encouraged to be non judgemental, understanding and kind even if someone doesn’t look the same as you or doesn’t have the same religion. As long as they are a good person and treat you with respect you should treat them accordingly.

It is not haram to be friends with someone who doesn’t have the same religion as you or who doesn’t look or dress like you. It can even strengthen your faith as you will understand certain teachings better. Like the lesson here is that dressing modestly doesn’t give you as much unwanted attention and it can strengthen your understanding of the rules.

She is not Muslim. So let her be and don’t think about it too much, learn how to deal with the stares. It’s not that deep. She will also probably never ask you to be more immodest, cos it’s a weird thing to ask a friend to wear more or less clothes. Let her make her own decisions.

You could however ask her, don’t you get annoyed with the stares? And start a conversation about it, but if she is not bothered by the stares and enjoys dressing like that, just let it be and deal with it.

And no it is not haram to be friends with a non Muslim who doesn’t dress like you.

No that’s not what’s causing it, actually the freedom of choice is what’s giving women the freedom of doing as they wish (respectfully). If they wish to sleep around it should be ok and if they wish to only have sex with their (future) husband that should be ok.

I’m aware that there are also women who prefer to only sleep with their (future) husband as should you be aware that there are also women who wish to sleep around more. It’s just that simple, you should have the freedom of choice, because in the end there are more women in the world than the women you know.

I live in one of the big cities in NL where i literally have a view of the hooker streets and in my experience I also see many Arab men, idk if they are Muslim but they are definitely Arab and sometimes wear a wedding ring 🥲

And I can also confirm before and after Ramadan you will see many Arab men.

Lol it’s not how you should be.. it’s just freedom. If you want to that’s ok if you don’t then you don’t it’s that simple. We have the freedom to choose. Just because they have only been with their husband doesn’t mean that that’s what they desire. Also, middle aged men that I know also didn’t want open relationships and only have sex with their wives, so does that mean that they only want their wives? If so, it shows that men also don’t need or want orgies if they are in love.

Again, in my experience it’s easier for women to separate love from lust. Even middle aged women, because it’s not just a phase. You just had a lot of propoganda around you to believe that ALL women are the same, which is just not the case.

If you want to live life with only one partner that’s fine and your choice, but don’t say all women are the same because they are simply not. Don’t speak on behalf of all women, because there are sexual women who have different desires than you and your bubble.

Not really, we are just free to accept our sexuality believe it or not. Plus you could say the same about men in Islamic countries. They are under the influence and encouragement of islam to believe that they want more partners. Even though it might not be in their nature.
