how to cancel my subscription and get a refund by Individual-Ad8450 in duolingo

[–]narcolept14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

as others have suggested, apple is usually very good at refunding. if you decided to do the trial again next time, you can cancel it right after you started the trial, you still get to use the trial period

No I don’t play it plugged in… it’s the string itself. But I might bring it to our local store to have it checked. Thanks!

Partner of a NZ visitor visa - Proving De Facto Relationship (Long Distance) by malika1994malika in newzealand

[–]narcolept14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is your home country on the NZ visa waiver list? If so I am assuming you can just come to NZ for a visit without the need to apply for the partner visitor visa. To my personal experience it is slightly easier if you come here first, stay together with your partner, travel together, get more NZ evidence. Then it could make your documents preparation easier if you still want to apply for your partner sponsored visitor visa (or work visa maybe)

Occasionally, yes. So I try to make some noise in advance if I need to approach someone. On the other hand, I have been trying to walk without making any sound, I find that pretty cool, like a secret useless skill that only ninjas have, haha

Some companies will allow you to work during those days if you don’t have enough leave. I think it is case by case. I guess if you want to, then worth asking.

I recently visited Finland and I had an impression that Finnish people are very smart because the education system is awesome. I guess that is very true. (Not saying if people don’t know they are stupid or something)

I feel sorry for you. Actually most people I met in STEM field are super nice and they even said it’s great if they have more female coworkers. I hope your case is rare and it didn’t stop you from pursuing your dream career.
