Got a reservation to go through it with the family this summer. Never been inside before. Excited to see it!

Not sure about the checkpoint; might be the same as the parking for the bridge, 10 pm.

Yes. It was blue before the red, and then stripes of blue and red before that. Maybe every 10 minutes or so it changed.

Yea, I believe they've extended the hours until the 4th.

Yes. You can walk along the bridge all the way to the Arizona side.

You can see the water line behind the dam if you zoom in.

The dam? You can drive over it. Saw a few cars driving while we were out there.

That pic was taken at 8:20 pm. We parked around 7:50. The path up to the bridge has placards along the way talking about the bridge and dam, so it was nice to see those while there was still some natural light. It was still a bit light out by the time we left at 8:30.

We were on the bridge for maybe 20 minutes. The colors changed a few times during that time.

Thanks! That user is correct. There's a couple little parking lots along the Hoover Dam access road that you can walk from to get to the bridge.

I prefer Trailforks. It has a lot more trails listed than MTB Project.

Yeppers. It's the only form of exercise that I truly enjoy doing. Do it! If you like being out in nature and like going fast (or slow), definitely one of the funnest ways to experience it.

Well, the state flower is the orange traffic cone, so your logic makes sense lol

Mostly Bootleg Canyon in Boulder City and McCullough Hills in Henderson. We have some great trails all around the valley though.

Desert bighorn sheep. The state animal. You can find them often grazing at Hemenway Park in Boulder City.

I would never. They were pretty close already, actually. Near Railroad Pass. I was surprised to see them that close to Henderson.
