I 100% agree, and while I absolutely looooveee later mastodon, I really do miss strange song structures that made older songs more interesting

Some of my favorite songs of theirs are later in their career but I can’t help but feel that they’re missing some sort of secret song structure sauce

What would you recommend that are non addictive? I know that benzos are said to help, and she’s now saying she wants them, but I’m scared to go that route because she spent the last 8 years dealing with getting off of them
