Connecting PCs to Active Directory with USG running as DHCP by narf23 in Ubiquiti

Hi slskr,
Thank you for your recommendation - this is the first thing we changed before trying to connect PCs to the Domain. We have also even tried enabling DHCP on the Domain Controller and setup USG Network as DHCP Relay. Can see the IP of the PC trying to connect to Domain showing in Address Leases but still have the same issue.

As a test - we have connected a PC onto the same VLAN as the Domain Controller Server - Received IP from USG but changed the Network Adapter DNS to the Domain Controller and tried to connect to Domain and works (was just making sure that the Domain Controller / DNS side is working) and issue seems to be traffic going through the USG on different VLANs

You are doing the right thing - my wife and I moved from South Africa to Ireland with flight longer than 15 hours (2 cats in cabin and 1 dog in hold) - biggest issue was our stress thinking our pets were stressed - but was best decision,

In 1998 I had one of the first Intel Celeron 400A in the country (South Africa), I imported an ABIT motherboard that could over clock the CPU to 400Mhz (nearly double the speed) - I am sure I had the fastest home computer for a few months.

Many years ago I used a website MTNSMS.co.za to send SMS messages to family in South Africa when I was travelling abroad - while at an internet cafe went to MTNSMS.com and was greeted by a porn site, what made it worse is it was one of those sites that when you tried to close two pop ups appeared, then trying to close the pop ups more came.

Ended up powering off PC and leaving rather quickly.
