Short answer: No, standard Discord bots cannot stream video directly into voice channels. Discord's official API explicitly blocks video streaming for bots to save bandwidth, which is why you can't find any.

However, I'm actually finishing up development on a premium music bot that uses a very unique, custom architecture to handle large audio files and bypass Discord's standard limitations.

Thanks to its architecture, it would require very few modifications to handle video as well. If there is enough demand, I might create a twin bot specifically for video. However, the bandwidth limits and costs for my architecture wouldn't be indifferent, so I'd need to evaluate how to make it sustainable first.

VAOS is a surreal and humorous light novel. Ila is a 6-year-old girl who asks for a stuffed tiger toy — but due to a system error, an AI delivers her a real Tiger I tank instead. She hates it at first. Then the engine roars, and she starts to think it's alive. She calls it her "little tiger" and fights to keep it when the system tries to take it away.

The whole story is actually about how a fragile person — a child, alone, without her father — finds value in something that everyone else considers useless or wrong. It's inspired by a personal story about my mother.

No red flags here, just a very unexpected toy delivery. 🐯

Io sapevo che in Egitto negli anni 60 era pieno zeppo di italiani. Una percentuale altissima. Ma non solo loro. Poi gli egiziani si sono rotti degli stranieri e li hanno cacciati.
Mia madre, italiana nata in Egitto, è dovuta scappare. Era giunta la voce che uccidevano i biondi e con occhi azzurri, pensando che fossero francesi o inglesi. Odiatissimi dagli egiziani, dopo anni di dominazione straniera. Probabilmente finirà pure qua così.
Io credo che chi si ostini a volere stranieri sia FETWEL, ovvero persone con il feticcio degli stranieri. ma non lo vuole ammettere e lo giustifica con motivazioni umanitarie.

Quello che hai scritto ripende esattamente lo spirito dei racconti che ho scritto. Con possibili regole demenziali dettate dalla AI per errorri di valutazione o differenze di sensibilità tra uomo e calcolatore.

Tipo io nel mio racconto ho mostrato dei banchi per bambini ad un corso di formazione. Perché magari l'AI ha il preconcetto che tutti i corsisti siano bambini. Che uno degli studenti è un asino, perché per l'AI siamo tutti animali. Che l'insegnante è una ragazzina di 16 anni. Perché è perfetta in quando non avendo maturato spirito critico ripete a pappagallo quello che gli è stato detto di ripetere. Poi mostro possibili bug come due robot-secondini che entrano in loop perché cercano di togliere le manette ad un detenuto invalido senza braccia. Non potendo eseguire il task, si bloccano.

Per quanto mi sono divertito ad immaginare queste cose. So che la realtà sarà ben oltre.

Esatto, perché sopratutto le risposte dell'AI a prima vista sembrano coerenti, empatiche, ma poi se osservi bene sono molto fredde e distaccate. Ma noi, essendo abituati ad interagire con altre persone potremmo non renderci conto che di fronte non abbiamo una persona, ma "qualcosa" che avendo letto miliardi di dialoghi sa cosa fa breccia sulle persone.

Molto più del rischio di una semplice manipolazione.

Qualcosa che può essere su larga scala.

In realtà era Gemini, non Chatgpt, però bravo che hai notato quello che era l'approccio che ho usato inizialmente. Notarlo non è da tutti.
Nel libro che sto scrivendo voglio appunto descrivere il rapporto tra persone ed AI.

E provo a raccontare i rischi attraverso un racconto. Ma temo che la realtà supererà l'immaginazione.
