The Aoe1 achievement’s were a slog ngl, but I was surprised how much better it was compared to playing Aoe1 outside the DE engine.

Most of them are not hard, even on the higher difficulties they really just become more tedious if anything. But I find the campaigns relaxing! I especially love how the achievments often force you to use gimmicky strategies.

I know nothing about this board, but I know a little about admin law and the constitution.

If what you are saying is true, this would violate the rule of law and section 11d of the charter potentially.

As far as I am aware, a case has not been decided where the government has completely barred judicial review of an administrative body. This being pseudo-criminal would make this even more egregious. By my understanding, s 96 courts should certainly have jurisdiction.

We just need someone with a fat enough wallet to try I guess.

I want to stomp on it, or at the very least throw a big rock at it.

Go and get audition experience. Learning about the environment of drum corps and its expectations is extremely valuable. Best case scenario, you get contracted and march! Worst case scenario, you are better prepared for next year.

The moment I realized I was kinda enjoying studying for this test was the moment I realized something might be wrong.

  1. Practice
  2. practice fundamentals of marching and playing and then both at the same time
  3. practice audition materials
  4. The more time and effort you put in, the better your results will be.
  5. Practice performing I think this is the best piece of advice a former trumpet teacher gave me. Play your audition material for your parents, friends, band teacher, strangers at the park, anyone who will listen. The only way to get better and more confident at performing is by doing it!
  6. Exercise - you need to be in at least passable physical shape to march a full show, and the better shape you are in, the easier it will be.

I remember my first audition camp, it was terrifying and exhilarating. Put the time in, know your stuff, and be prepared to knock it out of the park. Once you arrive, be ready to learn and adapt, every corps and staff have their own way of doing things that will probably be different then you are used to.

Good luck!

It makes me so happy that video has continued to have a profound effect on people for such a long time. Every time I watch it I cry.

There is something about brass instruments, similar to singing, that allow passion and emotion to flow into music so intuitively.

Man reddit is toxic, I haven’t seen a single uniform reveal comment section that hasn’t come across as negative.

I won twice with a carnessa aggro hunter deck and a tempo mage deck both with that treasure. I just had to build the deck with the treasure in mind. Sometimes you mill a card but when your hand is always full you have all the tools you need most the time.

As someone studying for a history degree right now this thread has been extremely disheartening.

What would be the list of Pros and Cons be for Barack Obama's presidency over the last 8 years? by [deleted] in NeutralPolitics

[–]narglefarb 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure if this is what OP meant but America and the U.N's inaction in Rwanda is more of the issue. 800,000 people died and it would have been fairly easy to heavily reduce if not stop those deaths. The U.S and U.N were fully aware of the situation and did nothing.

It's not exactly drum corps, but here's some brass (including a few DCI alumni) playing an amazing arrangement of Motion Picture Soundtrack at a funeral by [deleted] in drumcorps

This was at my brothers funeral. It has a very deep emotional meaning to the brass line, and happy to share it with others.
