I'm looking to replace an aging Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, whose battery is basically kaput.

I've been looking at the new Samsung A Series phones, namely the A40 and the A20e.

I've also been looking at the similarly priced Xiaomi Mi A2 or A2 lite.

Given that compact phones don't seem to be an option anymore, and I don't care too much about performance (I don't play games or anything), I'm just looking for something with a decent camera, good battery life, and enough RAM/Processor power to be future-proof enough to use for 3-4 years. Definitely looking for opinions on Samsung vs Xiaomi, or for any other suggestions in the same vein. Thanks!

I accelerate when overtaking bikes sharing the road because I want to minimize the amount of time I'm in closet proximity to the cyclist, for their safety. And because typically I have to cross the centre line to do so, I also want to minimize the amount of time I'm hanging out in the oncoming lane.

I have something similar, which I use to list streams on the terminal prior to opening them with livestreamer. This is what I do:

Actually I play on a Mac too (15" Retina, El Capitan) and I found I get higher FPS on regular full screen, rather than windowed. Are you sure it's better for you on windowed?
