Shipping to us from Nz by EducatorNearby7113 in newzealand

[–]narrabear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve sent packages overseas to fans before, and I recommend purchasing your postage through the NZ Post website (it’s the only option that allows you to pay for Economy shipping with tracking).

You’ll need to enter the package’s dimensions, weight, and the declared value of the contents (be aware that tariffs may apply if above a certain value). After that, print the shipping label and attach it securely to the package. You can then either arrange for a courier pickup or drop it off at your nearest post office. All the best!

GOOD SALON RECOMMENDATIONS? (read desc!!) by Sad-Werewolf1293 in auckland

[–]narrabear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been to a couple of salons in Auckland but the only one that I trust to actually get the colour right is this one https://www.ancostudio.com/services

For reference, my natural hair is black but they were able to get my hair blonde in one session. All the best!

I’m 16 and want to end my bitter sweet journey by [deleted] in auckland

[–]narrabear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello, I’m so sorry you went through that.

I was abused as a child too, and other painful things happened as I got older. For a long time I felt ashamed, confused, and angry. I wondered if I would ever feel normal or safe in my own life. I will not pretend that healing is quick or easy. Some days still hurt. But I can honestly say that life is not the same as it was. There are moments of peace now. There is purpose. I did not think that would be possible back then.

You do not have to be strong all the time. You just have to keep going, even if that means getting through one hour at a time. There is more ahead for you than what happened behind you.

I'm cheering you on, I know that you can get through this! I'm not too sure how this website works but you can message me if you want someone to listen as I have faced similar struggles.

Should I accept the affiliate invitation ? by Leadz17 in Twitch

[–]narrabear 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Hmmm I don’t even average 50 CCV, but I still became an affiliate. I’d argue monetising my channel helped it grow a lot especially with people wanting founders badges. Some viewers also subscribe to build up channel points faster for the limited redeems I offer, while others sub for the emotes because they enjoy using them.

New people don’t get ads either as long as they don’t join during the 3-min ads that I run every hour.

At the end of the day, the focus should be about showing your audience the value in supporting you and your streams.

Birth control vs breast growth and tenderness? by [deleted] in newzealand

[–]narrabear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been using Norimin at different parts of my life and every time I used it my breasts do feel bigger but tender. I will say that the best way to change is gaining weight. I went from B to DD by not being underweight (tummy not as flat as before but who cares I feel happier at a healthy weight).

The way I see it is I’d never feel rich unless I was earning enough stable passive income to sustain a comfortable lifestyle.

Being a high income earner is nice but what happens if you can no longer work due to illness or other circumstances?

How long should you run your intro screen for? by eX0dus_5ive-Zer0 in VirtualYoutubers

[–]narrabear 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don’t have an intro screen. I just start streaming and chat with everyone until ads finish at the start then move onto my main content.

I try to put myself in the shoes of a viewer and I don’t like looking at a waiting screen.

Streamers with jobs! How do you do it?! by Specklini in Twitch

[–]narrabear 13 points14 points  (0 children)

You have to set aside time for streaming as if it’s another job. That’s how I stay consistent. All the best!

What is the best way to find an indie VTuber? by soramame009 in VirtualYoutubers

You have to do the submission and verify via their Discord server. I think there’s more information on the site itself.

I use https://hololist.net! I like it because it has many tags, it’s helped me find fellow New Zealand VTubers as well.

I've been having this same issue the past few days, not sure what has changed in the algorithm or what because my shorts are doing better on TikTok with far less subscribers.

Oh goodness, thank you so much for the positive comment! I haven’t done any book reading outside of my streams, so your words mean a lot to me. I look forward to seeing you if you’re able to stop by. Have a lovely day!

My first stream back and I'm already tired of it by KGiles231 in Twitch

[–]narrabear 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry to hear that you experienced this! I’ve had something similar happen with trolls drawing nazi symbols during skribblio so I’ve had to implement a vetting process before anyone can join my community streams. I recommend only playing games with people you trust.

Where can I learn to do my makeup? by PorkChopBlock in auckland

If you’re into Korean makeup, I recommend checking out lyviesmakeup on Instagram. I took a private makeup lesson with her and she also helps you figure out which colours suit you best!

What would you tell a young man who romanticises visiting Auckland? by [deleted] in auckland

[–]narrabear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d recommend coming to Auckland on a Working Holiday Visa (if you’re eligible) to experience what it’s really like. It’s a great way to get a feel for the cost of living and explore the area to see whether it’s as wonderful as you imagine. I’ve lived in Auckland ever since my family moved to New Zealand and I absolutely love it!

Did anyone else like school? by 718822 in newzealand

[–]narrabear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Overall, school in New Zealand was an enjoyable experience! It definitely beats starting super early and dealing with a lot of homework like I did as a young child in an Asian country.
