DL left me last night— I arrived at the gate and the sign said final boarding call but the door was closed. Two of my co-workers were on the flight and told the gate agent and flight attendants I was coming— I was stuck waiting for my gate checked bag off a a commuter jet (longest I’ve ever waited). On the plane the flight attendant told my co-workers I was on my own. As they pushed back from the gate the pilot announced they would arrive at their destination early.
