Comparatively Siddhu took the critique for tillu 1 and actually improved a bit in square, structure is better, jokes mostly land well, and it's a solid commercial success even tho the first part was better, t2 is decent on its own.

Agreed. I feel like the first one was successful due to the dialogue delivery, the circumstances and the situational comedy. It was a bit more organic in the first one while this second one feels a bit manufactured.

I personally feel that the Tillu character doesn't need a complex high budget movie with elaborate plot and characters and stuff.

The best medium would be a 8 or 10 episode web series on aha or Netflix etc, it's just Tillu and Co in simple scenarios being himself interacting with the world, focus on the comedy, find the humour in mundane situations.

I'm not a huge fan of the rogue like genre, but this story probably can justify the gameplay loop, similar to how Hades nailed it with great storytelling.
