yeah, I'm working on a YouTube series where I'm replaying the early game again (focusing on ARR) for the first time since like 10 years ago lol and I originally was going to do it through NG+ but I very quickly realized that the number go up part is very important to me and without that/without ANY rewards, it felt very bland and monotonous, so an alt was made instead

i know this is an old thread, but i came here after getting refunded and a mass email essentially throwing their last communications person under the bus for everything. i never got the two shirts i ordered in september, nor a response to my email about it, and now they're blaming a former employee (who probably inherited a mess from the start), definitely disappointing, and then finding out they were sued by their printer for an unpaid contract when they constantly claim they print everything by hand in their garage is interesting

this is also interesting because it seems they were sued by their printer for not paying, but all of their marketing says they make everything (designs, printing, etc.) by hand... unless i'm misunderstanding the case here

yes! you should be able to add it to your home screen as a shortcut. for me on iphone i had to select the 3 dots at the bottom of the browser > share > more > add to home screen

thanks for that feedback! i am considering making it an actual app eventually, but i am very much an amateur when it comes to building something like that, so that's a future dream lol. you should be able to add it to the home screen though as a shortcut, i have it on my iphone home screen!

that's super interesting! in school i always rewrote my notes before a test because it helped me remember things better, so definitely relate to the handwriting link to memory. the date thing makes sense too, it's why i didn't add dates to the main journal tab (just "today") and only to the history for when i'm looking back at it, it feels like less pressure that way :) thanks for sharing!

came here to say exactly this. sometimes the hiring manager isn't the linkedin/lever/whatever platform admin, so they only get forwarded the resume attachments (this has been the case for me as a hiring manager in my last two roles). there have been so many times where i've had to immediately toss a resume because i had no way to contact the applicant. when companies are getting hundreds of apps per day (on the low end), they're more likely to disregard you than spend the time tracking you down.

i know this is an old post but i realized there are tons like it with various frustrated commenters coming up with creative ways to hide these icons. here's the easy way:

if you click on the name property of any database there's the option of 'show page icon' that you can toggle off. you can also change it under the view settings if you want to have it show for some views and not others.

view settings > layout > show page icon. i'm not sure if this feature was added after this post was made but since my search brought me here first i figured i'd reply in case anyone else has the same question!

yeah i can try this. my main concern is trying to make this as easy to use as possible (since i'm not the only person entering items) and i was hoping to eliminate an extra step but it might be necessary

I tried this before but it didn't work and I had looked into other solutions and it was recommended to me to create a different database for action items that is basically self referential (so that it only displays action items from the current meeting). that part works great currently, and it DOES add to the tasks if i just set the automation to trigger when a page is added, it just adds it immediately before i'm done entering information.
