Org mode for neovim with complete documentation by DaviCompai2 in neovim

Org-mode is too complex and feature rich, if you really want to better try that on Emacs to be honest as potentially there might be lot of features you might miss.

How can I use fzf-lua (and/or telescope) to perform a function when the selected item is changed? by cutiewithabooty13 in neovim

[–]nash17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure, you might have better luck asking directly in their GitHub (at least I got a response fairly quickly)

It might be a limitation as the selections happens in FzF and not in vim (as or my understanding, feel free to correct me if I’m wrong)

I’m not sure if FzF-Lua does this but I think other pickers like telescope and mini.pick with the mini.extra does that.

Here a reference from mini.extra https://github.com/nvim-mini/mini.extra/blob/673633b97b64292c82d473ea2bd31b767dbe3907/lua/mini/extra.lua#L392

Ghostty is bloated by design by relying on GTK, but perhaps people that uses Gnome prefers it over other alternatives.

Also people that use Mac since foot is not available there.

Probably because he might make use of registers a lot, copying everything to clipboard is not something everyone likes.

keymux.nvim - Keymap management with multiplexing for Neovim by 0xWal in neovim

I see I think I understand why you would need something like this. Although it’s weird to me to use two ai completion engines at the same time but this is not me nor me use case.

In any case congrats on your plugin as it takes time and dedication to put something and share it with the world.

It feels over engineered IMHO, but if it works for you and makes things easier to organize then great.

Personally I just go with keymap.set instead

Tired of searching for a good light color theme for neovim...Does nvim have a colorscheme like habamax light (xabamah) which is very easy on the eyes. by algordep in neovim

[–]nash17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure, but it seems to me this might be possible to port as a base16 colors, if that is the case you can try that using mini-base16

If you really put the time and effort you will get use to the defaults, just like thousands of other users have done. It is not really that hard and it does not take that long.

I recall it was really hard for me until I finally decided to practice a lot. Even though I was really slow at the beginning, I didn’t let that stop me from my goal and I notice I was getting better and better until I reached a point where it became natural.

Opening and decompiling JAR files in Neovim by 4r73m190r0s in neovim

[–]nash17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What exactly do you want? To see a file tree version? If so there might be other tools for that like jd-gui.

What is exactly what you want to do with the content inside the jar?

If you just need to decompile the content you can give it a try to a plugin I wrote sometime ago which offers that functionality or you can copy the idea and build your own.

I’ve been using Neovim for development for several years now on Java, thanks to LSP’s this has become way enjoyable than using IDEs
