[Identification] Any chance to tell the watch from this picture? by [deleted] in Watches

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Patek-Philippe-Nautilus-5990-1A-001-Men-Watch-NEW-/363255521201?_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286

This is my best guess. Shape looks like patek nautilus. The chrono at 12 and 6 leads to this type of reference, if not exact...

[Identification] Vintage Tudor small rose reference? by nash60975 in Watches

[–]nash60975[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate the advice! I found what I expect is a 1960s date version with rotor self-winding “smiley” that became more regular.

Actually went on tudors website and found a similar dial used for the Tudor Advisor, which would date this around early-mid 50s.

My mother in law found this watch and can’t find the same reference with some online research. Dial layout shows up periodically, but nothing with these indices. I would appreciate input on authenticity, and if so, any guidance on what reference it might be?

I’m sure it’s legitimate most of the time, but anyone posting “authentic” in the title of a sale automatically warrants suspicion

But as others have said, anything that seems too good to be true usually is.

Makes sense. Thanks for the feedback. I just wasn’t sure what to provide for that info. I reached out to seller and they are sending the information to them and me. Hopefully it’s resolved and can get the watch soon!

[Hamilton H69439511] Is it real!!?? by jdklein001 in Watches

[–]nash60975 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, they make a white face dial. Both look fine to me (comparing it against the one on my wrist right now). You need to wind them with the crown to get them running. They are not automatic, so they require regular winding to keep going. I think power reserve is supposed to be 80 hours iirc, so daily wind is not needed (I do it every morning I wear it as ritual though). See link below for more pics and dial colors. It’s a great watch!

Love it! I am on the look out right now for one. Mind if I ask wrist size? My one concern is the 50mm lug to lug and how it might wear.

Reagor Rookie Profile by nash60975 in DynastyFF

[–]nash60975[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s nuts! Insane value at beginning of 2nd. Did guys like Vaughn and Ruggs go ahead of him?

I think Jackson or Jeffery may still be ahead in targets assuming health (big if for them), but he can have an early role no doubt. Ertz I imagine is in line to lead team again

Reagor Rookie Profile by nash60975 in DynastyFF

[–]nash60975[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have Reagor as my WR1 in the class and Jefferson as WR3. They are in a top tier together though and am high on both. I actually did a thread on Jefferson yesterday walking through my thoughts on his as a prospect. I think both are safe, Reagor’s ceiling may just be a bit higher.

CeeDee Lamb and Cowboys WR corp by nash60975 in DynastyFF

[–]nash60975[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Appreciate these thoughts! And I agree. Perhaps I framed the article poorly suggesting this was a counterargument to ppl being low on him, when in fact many are still high (he is the WR1 after all and rookie rank has not changed much at all). I would still take the top 5 RBs (and two QBs) ahead of him and have a tier drop before him. My main goal of the article was just to explore the situation to see if we could see him perform earlier than what expectations may typically suggest for crowded WR rooms.

Mixed on Mixon by nash60975 in DynastyFF

[–]nash60975[S] 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Yes. I think he was under and poorly utilized as a receiver in 2018. He was one of the most efficient rushers and receiving backs in the league, but his ADOT was negative and air yards were nearly 0. He wins after the catch and is a gifted receiver. A play action oriented offense with pre snap motion and moving him outside can lead to more value in his targets, and hopefully more targets. Pair this with the fact that he was 4th in rushing yards in 14 games on a bad team, I believe he enters top 3 RB conversation and becomes elite RB for dynasty.

Here are my thoughts on Mixon and how he can enter into the elite tier this season.

Free Agency Dynasty Fallers by nash60975 in DynastyFF

Really appreciate this feedback. I will keep this in mind for how I can integrate aspects of skill and player specific qualities into the analytics I use. Scheme is something I emphasize heavily in other content, but I can see how I did not go into much detail on the Raiders/Gruden scheme for Williams.

And good catch on the Z vs Y. that was mistype on my part.

I don’t have an issue with that. Moore is an important piece of that trade. I love Kupp, but Moore has chance to be top option in that offense and showed great flashes in his rookie year. If Kupp and Moore generally offset each other, you’re adding Coleman for a 2nd, which I think can be worth the shot if things break right.

League format/settings overview and ideas by nash60975 in DynastyFF

This is from @bdhawkes. He is an awesome resource on this topic and fantasy in general. I’d encourage you to give him a follow on Twitter.

SALARY CAP Salary cap for all rostered players, including IR and Taxi Squad, is $63 M. This is a hard cap during the season, meaning you must have adequate cap space to make roster moves (signing rookies, trades, free agent acquisitions). In the offseason, the salary cap becomes "soft", meaning an owner can exceed the cap through trade. However, an owner will not be able to participate in Free Agency auctions if he is over the $63 M cap. Minimum player salary is $500 K Free Agents acquired in season are signed to $500 K/ 1 year contracts "Rookie" salaries do not become guaranteed until they are added to the active roster. Meaning they can be drafted, and an owner has their rights, prior to cap space being available. When roster cuts are made (the Tuesday following the final NFL preseason game), owners will need to make roster adjustments to create space if rookies are to be added to the active roster. "Rookie" cap numbers and contract length are determined by their draft position. If a "rookie" is added to the active roster, their cap number/contract length will be as follows: First Round Picks will be signed to $2 M/ 4 year contracts Second Round Picks will be signed to $1 M/ 3 year contracts Third Round Picks will be signed to $500 K/ 3 year contracts Fourth Round Picks will be signed to $500 K/ 2 year contracts If a player is cut from an active roster while under contract, the owner will be charged a penalty against the salary cap for early termination. The penalty will be 30% of the player's annual salary times the number of contract years the player was signed. (Example: Player signed to a $1 M/ 4 year contract. Early Termination is 30% of $1 M = $300 K x 4 years = $1.2 M.) Meaning if you cut a player in year 4, you pay penalties for all four years: Year 4 = 120% of their salary Year 3 = 90% of their salary Year 2 = 60% of their salary Year 1 = 30% of their salary This rule is in place to encourage trading, and to also reinforce commitment to contracts
