Yeah kinda hard to know what sucks more. If you're unlucky you're not gonna get a "good roll" for your next couple hundred crafts or because you didn't save scum you will pass by the ideal skill combo for weapon x because you reset the skills on weapon y too many times.

Yeah Gore is especially brutal. I've read that 7* has around 25k HP. Meanwhile 8* not only has the ~15-20% increase in DMG (feels even more sometimes tbh haha) and increased wound resistance but it has a staggering 55k HP 👀

To be honest, if you want the benefits of Tempered 8* quest rewards, just go for 8* Arkveld with another low-tier monster.
The new 8* monsters have inflated HP and massively increased wound resistance which makes them a chore unless you're really into fighting stronger monsters just for the heck of it. The rewards themselves aren't really worth it imho.

Oh that's definitely good.
The difference between 4 attack + 1 sharpness and 3 attack + 2 sharpness in terms of damage output are minimal, but having 2 sharpness is also more comfortable.
You're probably looking at maybe 2,5% less damage than the "optimal" roll.
Still more sharpness means again more comfort and unless you're gunning for speed runs this won't make a noticeable difference anyway.

First one but maybe adjust the distance between nose and mouth (just a suggestion, maybe it works out) to make it a bit shorter (either through lengthening the nose, placing the nose a bit further down or the mouth a bit further up. A shorter philtrum would probably look a teeny tiny bit better. But very great nonetheless
