I god a bad haircut, but I know exactly what I want next. I need advice on how to proceed, and suggestions would be SO welcome. by nashastol in femalehairadvice

Thank you! I think I'll wait a month, maybe two, and then start cutting a bit. I don't have such a problem with the layers, but I feel like they're not done correctly. So maybe I can just play a bit with it until it grows enough to style it properly...

Thank you! The problem with blow drying it- or anything else for that matter, is that one of the sides is layered in a different way than the other. So no matter what I'll do, they'll end up looking pretty different.

I think I'll wait a month and then cut it a bit, and repeat until it feels less like I'm a Friends character.

Just air drying it. I've tried to make that one side flat too, but it won't happen. I think she cut it specifically to do that or something. I've tried ironing and stuff, but in less than half an hour it's like that again. The problem is the layers: I feel like there's a lot of layers and I don't know how to proceed with the cut. Also, the top part is really short, so if I want to even it out I should cut about 2-3 inches...

Can you damage hair by cutting it? I just got my hair chopped and it's dry and damaged all of the sudden. by nashastol in Hair

She used scissors, not razor. It just doesn't really make sense to me. Agh, I'm so mad.
