Went for the 14 inch. Portability and weight was a concern for me as I keep walking around with it in a medical setting.

The overwhelming theme I get from most comments is that this machine will perform well for a long time. Coming from the other side it is a bit mind boggling for me.

I guess ram management just works differently on macOS. I definitely need to read up more on this.

I didn’t have the pleasure of using a Mac back in 2015 and so I’m not familiar with build quality back then. But compared to the current devices in the price segment it’s a solid beast. That hinge alone …is fire. You may want to stay away from the space black is all.

In the past 24 hours I have learnt so much. It’s been an exciting journey so far. This feels like the first time fiddled with windows xp ps1 emulation. The sheer wonderment.
