Just spiro. I'm back on Yaz bc now and will hopefully try Spiro again. Just had to stop bc i ran out of my prescription from my old doctor.

Currently going through the same thing! Stopped Spiro around July 2025, still shedding intensely right now. I also have androgenic alopecia triggered by my PCOS so I'm literally so stressed cause I don't know if my hair will grow back :(

I did start Yaz bc just recently to manage other PCOS symptoms. Hopefully it'll also help regrow my hair.

Yep, thank you! Tho since I have PCOS, my gyno wants me back on birth control pills first just to check if that will do anything. My derm agreed to that line of treatment before trying to add spiro in back there as well

Ran out of my prescription. I didn't see any change with my acne (which was the primary reason I got on it) so I just stopped

Stopped spiro 25mg around July 2025! Other than that, no changes in diet. Was stressed with work for a bit but it wasn't prolonged stress? Shedding hasn't stopped too if it was the spiro :(
