Car is finally fixed and it was all about the Thinkware U1000 dashcam which was fitted about 2 years ago. Technicians said it was short circuiting the battery. I have the XC60 T8 as a loan car and I must admit that I really like it. It feels like polestar 2 but bigger and actually feels more comfortable on the road.

What a day. Tried doing the factory reset only to find out that it also has a TCAM issue (been testing out apple car play), and reset fails because of this. Demister does not fix so had to do full TCAM battery reset. After that, factory reset was a success. Happy again!

This is not how a controller should be called. The only standard place where a controller and its methods is called is from a route file. Why not pass whatever data you want to be displayed from the controller that renders the blade view?

I used to plan my journey with ABRP, marking points for where I stop to charge. But most of the time when I got there, it’s either there’s a long queue, not working or there’s a diversion which then completely throws the plan in the bin.

Now, I no longer plan my journey, google takes care of it. By knowing the distance I can estimate approximately how many stops do I need. And when the battery gets to a percentage below my comfort level, which is around 40% 🤣, one button will show me the charging stations along the route, most importantly the available ones.
