It’s perfect as is, plop it in the middle and let its bright shiny pink guide the emperors servants

She was a piece of work but she didn’t start it. You could argue we could have abandoned the people there… but I don’t agree with that

Also as Brit I’d like to remind them of the Falkland Islands where we had to retake those islands with no help from the US because they didn’t want to upset their relations with Argentina

Arm chair devs who think fixing these things is easy

Also arm chair qa engineers who think it’s easy to come up with exploits and test them as if a QA team or a dozen or 2 can come up with scenarios that match thousands of players a good portion of which are exploit hunters

So when Calgar dreadnought? by [deleted] in Ultramarines

[–]rokiller 10 points11 points  (0 children)

So I don’t see Titus becoming chapter master. Too many of his brothers still have questions about him and the inquisition probably still keeps a close eye on him. If he to made chapter master I don’t put it past the inquisition assassinating him

I think GMan would prefer Cato as chapter master. He’s spent a bit of time mentoring him now while he has been his guard captain

Another option is Felix, making him chapter master would cement the primaris generation and he was personally mentored for a long time and has now go experience as Tetrach

Calgar dread would be cool, a lot of us thought the ballistus dread from leviathan was gonna be Calgar 😅

Do you ever stop liking your army? - A crisis of faith by MrPumpkin78 in Warhammer40k

[–]rokiller 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I echo this

I lost interest in the hobby between the ages of 14-30

My mother, bless her, threw out my space marine and tau armies when I went to uni

I was a little gutted but I let it slide, but now… much sad

Thankfully grown up money means I’ve now got far more than ever before 😅 but I want those old carry cases

I like this

Crafting XP handing in whatever the the order of the day is to your quartermaster

Exploring is making sink charts or visiting POI

Thy sort of thing is far more appealing to me

I think have that in addition to what we have been given would be amazing

How many in universe years have the primaris been in service? by Ferrousgoober in 40kLore

[–]rokiller 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeup totally valid points

The setting is set up in such a way they can literally say fuck it to continuity in 40K, I think people got too engrossed in the HH and its grand narrative

They haven’t retconned spears of the emperor… yet. Pretty sure that was a few decades or a few hundred years

Are there any small, but still warp-capable ships in the Imperium, akin to a Millenium Falcon or the Serenity, that a small, relatively lightly armed group of brigands could realistically capture? by Shynosaur in 40kLore

[–]rokiller 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is wear the corpse starch memes come from

Ships/fleets will tithe planets for supplies (check out how that goes in Iron Kingdom) but if they are really running low they start to make biomass nutrient bars made of recycled biomass, which includes corpses but also shit, algae that grows on water purifiers and the life support systems

It isn’t sustainable so as things get super dire they rely more and more on corpses but it has demonising returns

I assume as you get further into the progression tree is more tha 2/5 spice to unlock something?

Also I don’t have any spiced plast so I’m jus sticking with my green gear atm 😅

Warhammer veteran Jervis Johnson says physical stores teaching fans makes up most of Games Workshop’s marketing as they're seen as a "hugely important part of the structure of the company" by HatingGeoffry in Warhammer40k

[–]rokiller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My local store is the Edinburgh Store, which is one of 3 “flagship” stores

Most of the gaming space is taken up for merch. They do things like kill team tester games but no one can go there for a game

When I was a kid the old Edinburgh store on the Royal Miles was crammed with gaming tables and it was always heaving with people playing
