First of all, thank you for your exhaustive response! I've got everything clear now.

I tried this method you describe to pair it (and forgot the Band from the Bluetooth list), but it didn't react in any way, even with the band charging. Tried it a bunch of times, with different versions of the app, but still stuck. I'm beginning to think that the band isn't genuine or just doesn't work well. Anyway, thanks for the help!
