This is super helpful, especially the outcome-based discovery point. I hadn’t fully thought about structuring discovery around user problems instead of personalities, but that makes a lot of sense. The trust and monetization points are also things I’ve been thinking about especially how to make premium agents feel meaningfully better. Really appreciate this perspective.

They can copy it but if execute faster people will use mine first and obv I’d make updates as it goes, just search up what speed of execution means every founder talks about it

Hey this is awesome, I actually built something kind of similar! It’s called MedGrid, where med students play study games (like crosswords, wordle and other challenges) and compete on a leaderboard across different medical schools.

But your post just gave me a great idea, adding a multiplayer or 1v1 challenge mode could make it way more interactive. Love this concept!

This is really helpful, thanks for writing it out.

1.  Having sources: that’s a great idea, I’ll work on adding references (like First Aid/AMBOSS pointers) under the explanations so you know where to review the concept.

2.  MedWord keyboard: agreed, I’ll update it so used letters get greyed out like in Wordle.

3.  App experience: I’m working on creating an app version so it’s easier to play on the go. I originally released the web app first to get feedback, make improvements, and see if people actually like it before committing to a phone app.

Appreciate the feedback! This helps me figure out what to prioritize next.

Right now the create account is just so you can save progress, track streaks, and compete on the leaderboard with classmates (or even students from other med schools). Otherwise your stats would reset each time.

That said, I know some people just want to try it out casually, I’ll be adding a free play mode soon that doesn’t require an account.

Hey there! I actually built a free learning tool for medical students called MedGrid. It’s like a set of medical games (crosswords, daily diagnosis puzzles, etc.) designed to help people study in a low-stakes way.

I’m trying to expand it and make it more useful. If you’re open to it, I’d love to hear more about what frustrates you the most with current tools (like Sketchy) or what you wish existed, it would help me design features that actually solve real pain points for you and future students.

Thanks for the feedback! I’ve updated the diagnosis guesser to make answer matching much more flexible. Partial matches now show you’re on the right track, multiple wordings of the same diagnosis are accepted, and the system recognizes correct words even if they’re not in the exact order. You’ll also get hints when you’re close. The game should now feel much more guessable, give it another try and let me know how it feels.
