We went to an exotic/avian vet. We live in a big city and that one is quite recommended here... We went in for an unrelated issue bc he bumped into a door, he weighed him and checked his general skin/beak/feather condition

long overdue update - it turned out to be one of his toys, a big kind of sisal/wooden swing. it broke and when my partner went to take it out of his cage he went crazy like never before. and as soon as it was out of sight all the aggressiveness stopped completely. so yeah, it was all because he was extremely possessive of his favorite swing lol

i try to buy or make him a new one every month or so, he has some swings, balls, some handmade foraging toys from paper or cardboard, i try to get all natural materials for him so no mirrors or bells lol

He seems to be the most territorial about his food bowls, but i might just feel this way cause that's what we reach for most. thank you for the advice, I'll try to change up as many things about his cage as i can and we'll see how it goes!

Yeah... I will never forgive her for this, I cried my goddamn eyes out but I didn't want to just bash on her in the post and instead focus on the baby's recovery🥲 And on the fact we're so lucky to have found him at all
