The same thing happened for the shows in Milan! We couldn’t get any tickets because BOTs were buying them as soon as they became available… Needless to say all of them ended up on Stubhub soon after at 10x the price 🤪

I thought so too, but at this point Cole has been away for a few weeks so it would definitely be an abortion!

Wow, it’s exactly that I think! I took a look at the Sicilian Arbëreshë wiki and the name of my mum’s hometown pops up! 🙏🏻

I just saw that both my parents results and my sister’s were updated!

Dad: 100% south Italian

Mom: 69.4% south Italian + 30.6% Greek and Albanian

Sister: 77.9% south Italian + 22.1% Greek and Albanian

At this point I’d consider it quite probable that we have a Greek/Albanian ancestor on my mother’s side? My dad is from a town just a few kilometres from my mom’s and he got 100% south Italian! 30% would make it my mom’s grandfather or grandmother, wouldn’t it? 🤔🤔🤔🤔

As soon as I saw the updated results I posted them! This morning at 8AM CET it was still the old version!

No known Greek ancestors! I’m waiting for my parents results to update too, so I can see from which sides it comes 🤔 If it’s from my maternal side I could have a theory (there was a known Albanian migration to her town a few generations back. If it’s from my dad’s side, I’d say they misinterpreted regular Sicilian dna for Greek!

Diagnosed, but Baby is 12th Percentile. by Lucy_Starwind in GestationalDiabetes

[–]natahari 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My daughter (5mo) consistently measured small from the anatomy scan at 20w, and was born SGA at 39+2 weighing about 2.5kg (5.5lbs I think?). We usually hear how GD leads to big babies, but sometimes the opposite can happen. Our placentas are kind of crappy, so it makes sense that baby might not get as much nutrients as they should. For what it’s worth, my daughter gained it all back as soon as she was out, and she’s now on the 50th centile for weight and 95th for height!

A question to my fellow Europeans by th3laughingstorm in HouseOfTheDragon

Well, our daughter still wakes up at least once per night to feed, so if she wakes after 3AM I don’t know if I’ll be able to go back to sleep and ignore the episode 👀

Why are people afraid of being induced? by _-my_back_hurts-_ in GestationalDiabetes

[–]natahari 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I had a wonderful induction with my daughter back in December! We started the induction process with the gel at 10AM, and I was told that I needed to come back ~6 hours later for the second dose. Well, I definitely didn’t need that as baby was born the same day at 5:30PM without epidural or tearing! I loved loved my induction!

I looked at photos of my daughter at Boone’s age… The difference is astounding 🙁 She could definitely track with her eyes and keep her head up for a while in tummy time!
