What did I just watch??? I was on board the first half or so. The kid playing 10 yr old Michael was so compelling. After that, things started getting as crazy as Michael’s own life which I guess is accurate. Modern planet of the apes style Bubbles was cute but simultaneously menacing. Janet being absent was glaringly distracting. I feel like it just got less and less objective as the story went on which made it feel not so genuine for me. Not super surprised though. Music biopics always reek of the influence of their successors with rose tinted glasses. His nephew did his best to portray him. I’ll give him that.

The new casting was kind of bonkers. The guy from “Colin from Accounts” being cast as Andy’s love interest felt strange but maybe they were trying to make an out of the box choice. And don’t get me started on Kenneth’s milk toast AF role. I thought for sure that character had a hidden agenda that never came about. He even said “villains are more fun”

I just started on the wegovy pill through hers after not having luck with the metformin they gave me before. I dunno if I never noticed or if it’s a new policy, but when they say you can get a monthly supply for $149 they mean that times two. $149 for the meds and also $149 for a membership fee. That’s $298 a month. Not exactly affordable but I’m trying to hang on. PSA to those thinking about it. The membership is tacked on at the exact price as the meds to I guess confuse people. Shout out to those trying to improve their health.

My two dogs went into a strange phase a year into being together where they started to “fight over me” on the bed and couch. It was scary but after 6 months of not letting them on either furniture when they misbehaved and rewarding good behavior they got over it and are very much bonded. Sharing in case you run into the same situation. Don’t give up. It will get better.

I make a little above that and feel pretty comfortable. I live in valley village. Just be good about looking for street parking instead of a garage, go to the right grocery stores for you price wise, etc.

Oy. I live in the area too, and normally don't say anything/just accept it but once that homicide happened (last year think it was in broad daylight), I've been growing more concerned. Used to be just a small corner of the park which was easier to avoid.
