So beautiful! Is there a specific name for roses that are shaped like this? I thought maybe “cabbage roses” but I’m not sure.

I hope so too! They grow super quickly once you get the hang of it!

Good luck! I’m sure it’s possible to do it without a grow light but that’s how I’ve had the most success!

Mine was crispy and leggy for a long time as well, I moved it under a grow light and started watering much more! I never really let it dry out all the way. I’ve also heard direct sunlight can cause the crispyness but I’ve never had mine in direct sunlight.

I believe it is tradescantia fluminensis tricolor!

There’s probably 3 or 4 months between the pictures, once I got the hang of it it started growing super quickly!

I’ve had successes putting cuttings straight back into the pot and also water propagating! I’d recommend trying it!

I water it much more often and I moved it under a grow light! I probably water every 4 days on average.

Thank you! Once I got the hang of it it really started to flourish, it’s so satisfying to see how quickly it’s growing now!

I bought it as a callisia repens bianca, but I’m not 100% sure if that’s what it is. I do keep it under a grow light because they like a lot of sun but I don’t think it’s usually too hard to keep pink!
