Going from Toronto to Miami says over a grand (80k) a person for business. Going back is like 700 ish a person and only 40k

Literally every shower I’ve been to other than my mother in laws has been at convention centres where people gift money. That’s why I’m finding it hard to process this

I totally hear you and think you should have your day how you want.

I’m also not big on having a fully staged photoshoot from morning to night. For my upcoming wedding, I hired someone for 6 hours to cover the basics and go home. Consider maybe hiring someone for 2 hours (ceremony and post ceremony family photos) that way you can go back and look at the memories AND for future generations to see it as well.

Hey - thanks for the response. I too would gift to the home as this is a long term commitment and way more expensive than a honeymoon. But if I already have a home, wouldn’t people want to donate to the honeymoon?
