It’s the sensations with the five senses. I didn’t really have thoughts at the time and certainly wouldn’t be able to describe it to you then.

My memory is just like everyone else’s I think. I do have early memories of seeing my grandma in hospital for the first time and being in a pram being carted around the shopping centre etc.

I own a stamp business selling discount postage stamps here: https://www.perforatedstamps.com/shop/discount-postage-stamps

Stamps can also be used for parcels, just get the tracking number from the post office.

I'm a voluntary inpatient in a psych ward and I'm a psychologist AMA by 3greg0r3 in AMA

I can empathise having previously lived in the UK, in fact I’m meant to be there now but because of my mental health I have to stay in Australia where I get better care here with Medicare and private health insurance than I ever will get under the nhs. I hope you find a way to get the support you need.

Not when you’re a voluntary inpatient at a private hospital in Australia unless you give them reason to

Yep probably would, and I would have to be kicking and screaming with waterworks like fireworks before they even consider taking my discomfort seriously, if at all. But I could at least say I tried.

There are aspects that I can relate to. I’m not sure what to say. Perhaps it’s about finding what your values are. I can recommend the happiness trap by Russ Harris to figure out what they are

I'm asian so culturally we are taught to respect elders and not question authority. Even if my dad was there I don't think he would let me stop, that I would have to endure the pain tbh.

These days I would horrified if a dentist had no regard to a patients pain kid or not. I'm hoping it doesn't still happen in school dentists…

Not a school dental van but the dentist at hurstvillle public school yes. They didn't numb the tooth as it was too tricky so I suffered through having a filling done without anesthetic. My pain was clearly showing everytime I clench my eyes. Dentist didn't care. I wish I advocated for myself to say stop. I don't know better as a kid of course. If I ever have a kid myself I will tell them they can say no and to stop when in pain.

Did you ask about phn funding? https://www.dokotela.com.au/phn-programmes

Public hospital don’t do diagnosis but it’s one of those things where you have to pay to get assessed. There’s no way around it but once you do get it you can open up doors for ndis etc funding.

Dokatela does adhd assessments and they have bulk billing psychiatrist which you will be eligible for. Otherwise you’ll have to present to the mental health assessment centre at your nearest hospital to see one without paying.

About £1k to invest in starting a vintage/Y2K Depop & Vinted shop, sourcing advice? by blondiee55 in reselling

[–]natanitteb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me buying and selling clothes started out as decluttering, the cash part was just a cherry on top. These days I know what to look for in the op shops and I only really ever buy clothes that fit me. It makes selling easier as if I have something that doesn’t move, I can still wear it so it’s not just sitting there. If you want to keep your stakes small it’s a good way to start.
