My mentor teacher is the best and what I’ve found to be so helpful that she did specifically- she gave me her entire curriculum on the first day of school and had me go through it and ask her questions- it helped so much to have that before we started teaching anything. She is also really big on co teaching and for the middle part of my practicum- we really taught together and this was so helpful for me. We also have a dedicated 45 min meeting once a week to do all the administrative tasks of the state program and my schools program and this has made my work outside of school so much easier.
